Bumble Bees are big, bulky, hairy and sometimes menacing.
They build a relatively large hive, usually in an abandoned rodent burrow tunneled under a house or shed, or in a wall cavity with an exposed entrance close to the foundation.
They are also considered a beneficial insect but will sting under provocation
